somewhat exciting

it said beep beep beep and all of a sudden my evening was a state of total happiness!

i just wanna dance the night away

please, just make time pass as quickly as possible and make it the first weekend in feburary, cuz all i wanna do right now is to go north, waaaay north and just dance dance dance...

and you may wonder why, and i'll tell you;

I just came back from one of the best weekends ever, and of course it has something to do with dancing!
the dance-a-thon in Hudiksvall was the great event that took place this weekend, very similar to the one in Ö-vik, only it's not as far of a drive.. maybe about 700 km instead of 900... :)
i am high on adrenaline as we speak, and will probably be so for the next couple of days, maybe even weeks..
right now the only thing i can think about is the fact that it's 95 days left until i get to go back and dance with all those wonderfully awesome guys, and it just seems too far away to me..

what kind of ppl actually go to these things, you might wonder, and i'll tell you that too..
ppl who are awesome, social, funny, friendly and who does NOT hesitate to, (after 7,5 hours of dancing i might add), stand on the dance floor and refuse to leave until the bands play at least another song, so they did, one song each, which gave us a total of three, but the ppl there (me included) were not satisfied, so they played another one, as fast as they could to make us tired, but no. WE WANTED MORE! and even tho the bands weren't allowed to, they gave us a little something extra, and we all stood there together, singing and dancing and just wishing the night would never end..

but it did, and now i'm back home, dreaming me back to yesterday, when i was dancing closely with one of those wonderful dancers, and everything, absolutely everything in this world, was perfect, there, at that moment, when he held me tightly...
please, just take me back.

the cruise

it all worked out just fine, we got to go on the cruise, after persuading our mom to come with us (since we couldn't go alone, seeing as neither of us is 23, and you had to be.. ) we we're taken back a couple of years to the days when we were still under aged and mom had to be our guardian.. haha

emmily also decided to come along after feeling rather jealous of us, so it was the four of us; Lina, Emmily, Mom and I... :) an all girls trip that is!

and we had fun! and a lot of it too!

we danced bugg, hung out with the guys in highlights (http://www.bandethighlights.se/)

and ate an incredible dinner! YUMMY i say!

I WON I WON I WON:..... fuck it.

so, i won something for the first time in my life basically, and not just something like a chocolate bar at the local carneval but a really nice price.. A CRUISE!
yep, a onedaycruise from stockholm to åland and back, with birka line...

so the story behind all this is that i went dancing yesterday, here in växjö, to a band called highlights (www.bandethighlights.se). had a really good night and i signed up for this lottery they had, were u could win a cruise for this coming weekend, with no hope of winning, cuz i never do.., and there i was, by the end of the night, thinking i'll just go to work next weekend instead on a nice cruise, when they all of a sudden actually call MY name!. it took a couple of seconds for me to realize it, but i had WON!
so, what's the problem u might wonder? and i'll tell u that.
the big effing problem is that i HAVE to work next weekend, there's basically no chance for me to get the weekend off since we're only to cashiers, and the other one can't cover for me that weekend, since she's planned to go visit an old friend of hers for a looong time!
i'm gonna talk to my boss (who's probably the best boss in the world) and see if there's anything we can do about it... on monday.. so, let's all cross our fingers and hope for the best, cuz i really wanna go on this cruise!
