But then again, there are all those good times i had while not at work:
Dance-a-thon in Ö-vik.

E came for a short visit all the way from Umeå.

The comeback in april, getting to go back to LA. THAT was awesome.

And here we are.. i guess it's been a pretty good year after all, but 2009 - Here I come! a year of travelling, seeing new exciting things and exploring. It's gonna be a damn good year!

yesterday i went dancing, and it's gonna be until next summer until i get to dance again.. MAn i'm gonna miss it, but on the other hand i have sooo much more to look forward to these coming months! iiiih!
Anyways, dancing was awesome! Had a really great time and even got a marriage proposal.. haha.

yesterday we had a staff party. christmas food at the castle. and since the castle is a puuurty place, K and I decided to dress up, and dress up good. and we did.

-"this is the first time i've seen you dress like a girl", F said when we came to E's for drinks before dinner. i decided to take that as a compliment.
dinner with the whole crew, then we split up; K, O, L and I went to L's to have some more drinks (which i reeeeally didn't need), and the rest just dissappeared.
but the four of us had a damn good time! no dancing tho, but that might be a good thing seeing as I (!!!) was wearing heels...
all together, it was a damn good night!
which ended late, but in a good way.. :)

Today (or tonight might actually be more exact) I've changed to winter tires on the car, all by myself! (or at least almost.. dad showed me how and i got to do it under his supervision) :)

hahaha!
I spent monday and tuesday in Hindås (outside of Gothenburg), with representatives from every Siba-store in the country. We were there to catch up on news on the mobile side, get to know ppl from other stores and just have fun! And fun we had! As a girl, i was a pretty rare.. I think we were about five girls, and in total around 40 ppl. Anyways, I had FUN!
and if you're wondering why the heck the title of this entry is about tits and ass, it's a looong story, but to make it short:
Three guys and i were talking about what's hot and what's not.
The guys had to choose betweens tits and ass.
One guy said he was a tits kinda guy.
And another that he preferred ass.
And the third couldn't choose.
And then they made me choose.
I chose hair (i know, i'm weird)
But that didn't match the other words.
So i became abs.
So our new names were Tits, Ass, Tits 'n Ass and Abs
And we had FUN! :)

"dansbandskampen" (the dance band struggle/fight??) on TV today, and yes, Scotts was the only band that i'd dance to. I like the fact that(even though the majority are "mature bands") they show more modern dance bands, so that ppl our age might understand that there's more to dancing than "leende guldbruna ögon" and Lasse Stefanz!!! :)

yep, it's (almost at least) official.
I'm not taking the job.
I told my boss yesterday, and even though she'd hoped until the end that i'd accept the offer, i think she knew somewhere deep inside that i wouldn't.
Now i just have to tell all my colleagues that i'm leaving after new years. Told Fredrik yesterday, and i'm planning on telling everybody friday at the latest.
That's the hardest part, telling all of my friends that i'm leaving and not coming back! :(

the interview

okey, so i guess i should write something about that interview yesterday..

what interview? you might say.. ehm, i dunno how to say it in english, but the interview was for a spot that opened up at work, as a deputy store manager..( i have NO IDEA if that's the word for it, but i hope you all know what i mean)

anyways, i'd told my boss that i'll be leaving by new years, and i felt good about that.
Then, a couple of days later, she all of a sudden tells me that this spot is opening up and that she want's me to apply for it (and this, i might add, was a BIG shock for me, since i didn't really think i'd go any further than i already had)...
so anyways, after a looong discussion with myself, my mom and basically everyone else close to me, i decided to apply for the job and just see what happens (still not decided if i really wanted it)
So yesterday i went to that job interview, set on being a 100% honest about not knowing if i wanted the job or not and about my plans on going travelling.. and it went really well, at least i think so,,
they basically finished the interview saying "you have to go home and decide what you want, you can't fo this for anyone but yourself, YOU have to want it. "
so yeah, i went home, and thought about it, and then i went downtown and looked up prizes for trips around south america. and i think i decided to go. to see the world.
not to stay here and get stuck at siba, even though it's an awesome opportunity and that it might (and probably will ) lead to a job as store manager within a year or two. not that i don't like siba, cuz i really do, but i'm not sure it's what i want to do for the rest of my life (or even only the closest one two or three years)
still haven't told my boss this, which might be a good idea, but then again, i actually don't know how the interview went, it might have gone completely the opposite way and they're not even considering me. you never know.. so i'm gonna wait, and not tell them until i have to..

dance-a-thon - again

and again and again and again and again and again..
I just wanna dance agaaaaain! lalalalalalaaaaaa

as you all may have realized, my weekend was awesome! Yet another dance-a-thon in Örnsköldvik, and yet again it was great! about 17 hours of dancing in two days, about 2000 km on swedish highways and then that little stop by Linköping on our way back.. just to get some dance-cravings out of our systems! :)

so today i did it.
i told my boss that i'm not coming back after the trip lisa and i
are planning to do this coming spring.
and it felt kinda good.
Good to know it's only four months left of boredom

Oh, okey.. so we already figured out i'm really bad at updating this thing, but hey.. what's a girl to do?

Anyways, yesterday was the day of Gustav's and Tessan's wedding, amazingly beautiful!

And of course, staff party with the ppl from Siba! NICE!
My place looked like hell when i came back tho, but after two hours of cleaning(in the middle of the night, i might add) it was spotless!
and waking up today not having to take care of all the dishes and beer cans was awesome! From now on, i'm always gonna clean up after a party in the middle of the night! (even if it means i don't get to go to bed until 4.30 am)

otherwise i don't have that much new to say..
exept that it's only about 35 days left until the dance-a-thon in Ö-vik! YEY! Annelie and I are planning another Taco Dinner, which is hopefully gonna be a success! Can't wait!

Sofia, Sabina and I went down to Ronneby today, to enjoy a day at their SPA! :)
A day full o relaxation, bubble baths, jacuzzis, fluffy bath robes and sun! I LIKE!
I ended the day with a Step class, holy cow that was hot!

But my body thanks me for the treatment i've given it today, i hope at least.

the weekend that passed

Went to gothenburg to visit Julia, who i hadn't seen in 13(!) months, and it was awsome! Maddie was there from Stockholm aswell, so we had a little reunion! :D
Felt more like a day than more than a year since we last saw eachother, and that's what's so great with good friends!
Spent saturday at liseberg, (for free i might add, cuz julia's awesome friend Carro works there) and enjoyed all of their rides. My favourite was probably one of the new ones, Uppsvinget, which is basically a HUGE swing for a lot of ppl! :D

Then we went back to Julia's, a cute little house a bit outside of Gbg, and it was just so beautiful! She lived right on the cliffs by the sea! The neighborhood looked more like a vacationer's paradise than a regular housing area!

Saturdaynight was partynight with tequila, margaritas and good friends! :)
The night ended with rain pouring down.. or wait.. it wasn't pouring, it was more like someone threw buckets of water over our heads!
well, anyways... i like the rain.. and after a couple of drinks, i like the puddles the rain makes... and even more so, i like to jump in them! so that's what i did, and Julia, and Maddie, and we had FUN FUN FUN!
(it just got a liiiitle bit cold after that, but hey! No cold yet.. knock on wood)
Got back to Julia's around 5a.m and after a nice cup of milk we fell asleep..

Sunday I went with Julia to feed their horses, and after that followed a trip to the grocery store to get me some hair dye.. bam bam bam bam bam!
And now i'm a brunette for real, no blond stripes anywhere!
It's very very dark brown and i like it! first time in 7 years that i dyed all my hair permanently!

so, to sum it all up (i have no idea if you could say that in english) : It's been a GREAT weekend!

Had an ice cream right before i went home, so i'm still not hungry, which is weird, since i havn't eaten since 8.30 this morning..

soooo, short version of the month that passes unnoticed in this blog:
Summer came, it was hot, i got a tan.
Dre finally came over! YEY! it was awesome!
I turned 21. We had a b-day dinnerparty at mum's
I had a b-day party at home followed by a night of dancing to crappy music at loft.
Dre, Lina, Emmily and I went to Öland, for the dance week. totally rocked! didn't stay the whole week tho, but we got 4 out of 7 nights, not too bad. I think Dre liked the dancing, at least the foxtrot! ;) and we both got ourselves a snuggle buddy each for the last night, which was NICE!
Emmily and I came to the semi finals in the mascerade dancing competition, wearing cheer leader outfits! :D
Dre and I went to stockholm last saturday. Visited Mike and went to a house party. train tickets were sold out on sunday, so we had to rent a car to get back home. a very cute car i might add
Went back to work monday. My Bosses had missed me. I like them. dinner at mum's at night, dre's last night and gustaf's b-day party.
Tuesday off. dropped dre off at the train station around 6 a.m.. SOOO SAD! I MISS YOU GURL!
work wednesday, thursday and here i am now.
Went to see Sex and the City with Lina and Cicci yesterday, pretty good, maybe a 3 out of 5.
Tomorrow it's work and saturday i'm hanging out with Louise, might be going to a step class in the morning, you never know!

so, it's the end of may and summer is slowly entering into our lives, and i LOVE it!

Today i'm going down to Malmö for a conference with some other ppl from the company i work for.
Seems like it's only gonna be me and about ten guys, so it's all up to me to stand up for us girls in the world of technical stores! :)
We're gathering up for a dinner tonight at the hotel where we're staying, and tomorrow it's all about education on new products..
It's gonna be a good time, i hope!

damn jet lag

so, back from LA, ready to go to work in about 45 minutes and missing California already.
woke up at 4.15 this morning and haven't been able to sleep since then, I'm guessing it's gonna be a looong day at work today.

okay, so i got home yesterday evening, and because of the lack of sleep from my journey, i managed to fall asleep, at least for a couple of hours...

the last week of my trip was just as awesome as the first one, filled with laughter, sun, friends, shopping and everything else that makes life worth living!
Dre has decided to come here around the date of my b-day, which is in two months, so this time i won't have to wait forever until i see her! and knowing that, it didn't feel as bad to leave, even tho it sucked big time in either case. me love LA, there's no doubt about it!

so, saturday was spent at the beach, tanning, playing v-ball and swimming (in the ice cold water i might add), teddi and friends came by and it was so nice to see him again!
we went lshopping for party outfits after that, since we needed something to wear the same night when we were supposed to go to this club opening in hollywood, which didn't really happen, so we ended up at a gay bar in west hollywood instead, and hell, i tell you, that was an experience!

slept in on sunday morning, went to the pool for a couple of hours, got even more tanned, which is nice, went to third street to meet up with rickard (roffe) and friends.. we had an ice cream at the pier, then i went back to third for some serious shopping, weeei!
bought a new bikini which i'm taking for a test swim later today!
yesterday night, quinn and i went to cheescake factory for dinner, dre was working so we decided to go see her in action.. yummy yummy i tell you, and the eye candy was good too...

today is not as hot as it has been the last couple of days, but it's still nice enough to hit the beach, or the pool, haven't really decided yet..:)

spent the day at the pool, already getting a bit tanned, right now i'm getting ready to borrow dre's convertible and drive over to the bicycle store to see if i can find something there! :)

(dre's at work, so i'm spending the day being lazy)

tomorrow we're hanging out at the beach all day, b=playing ball and just having fun.. probably gonna go with daniel and his crowd in the evening to this medieval place he was talking about! yey!

finally back on the dance floor!

so, we just got back from brennan's, which was just as awesome as i'd thought it would be!
the band totally recognized me, said "welcome back" and totally changed their schedule up for us! wiii, they're the best and we're soo happy to see me/us!!
rick, the bass player, is in another band called 2nd day crush, and i bought their cd, which is totally awesome!!! (listening to it as we speak)

so, basically, this night was just perfect, and i'm so bummed i only have time for twp nights at brennan's!


anyways, earlier today we went down to venice beach, had an ice cream at COLDSTONE, did the whole boardwalk shpooing/thing (towel and two belts for me) .. stopped by arbor on our way back, and they have a sale, so i'm totally going back there soon to get a LOT of stuff!
later i cooked dinner for dre and quinn, yummy yummuy, and they really liked it, thank god...:)

back where i belong

so, it's 10.52 am and i'm sitting on dre's living room floor after breakfast.. :)

the trip was just fine, long and slow with a lot of waiting, but still fine!

feels so good to be back, the happiness settled in my stomach as soon as i saw the coast line by the marina from the plane!
I'm staying with dre and her roommate quinn, who's really nice!!! we're having a lot of fun already, seems like it's gonna be two great weeks!!

at the moment we're watching pippi lonstockings in english, pretty funny to see a dubbed version of it...:)

tonight we're going to BRENNAN'S!!! weeei, can't wait!

so, countdown has begun, two days until take off - sweet is the only word to describe it, exept for awesome, wonderful, totally rad and fantastic.. :)

april 9th 2008 - the comeback!

i've missed you

last day of february

so, all of a sudden winter is over and we're slowly moving towards spring, and by that we'r also movin towards.. bam bam bam!! -- SUMMER!!
but before all the loveliness that comes with summer, there's USA!
yeye! only one month and 9 days 'til i leave this godforsaken country and go back "home" for two weeks! wiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! it's crazy! i've been away for about 7 months now, but it feels like forever.
it'll be good to hang with the old crew, to go to brennan's, to play v-ball and, of course, to go SHOPPING!
(i'm saving as much money as possible, being on a complete non-shopping diet..)

hmm, so.. what about febrary u say?
well, it's been crazy...
first weekend, feb 1-3 was the dance-a-thon in ö-vik (as much fun as always, I LOVE IT)
then, second weekend, feb 8-10 i had that course in instructing for step/aerobic, followed by two days in stockholm including the best night ever (the alter bridge concert), which were followed by two days of work back home,,,
third weekend, feb 15-17, i went to another instructing course.. this time in stockholm (yep, stockholm twice in one week, gosh...) and ever since that, it's been all work, training, work and training... and some sister time.. (may we all have sisters' love in our lives)

so, march.. hmm.. biggest things to come will be a couple of dancing nights and my first step- and afropowerdance-classes.. otherwise i forsee march mostly to be a very unnecessary commuting stretch before april.. but hey, " he who waits for good, does not wait in vain".. or something like that..

so, a while ago i found out i might get promoted, and today i did.. it's not a big deal, but i'll have a bigger reponsibility and access to some of the programs i havn't ad access to before.
and seeing as i've only been there about 5 months, i'm extremely overwhelmed..:)

i hope i'll be able to live up to their expectations.

it's insane , the fact that we havn't actually spoken for about 7 months, but in some weird way it felt just like yesterday! and that's what friends are for! and now i'm super excited to go see you in april! yey!

things are happening all of a sudden

and as a flash of light, all of my free time the coming weeks/month disappeared...
so, i got a job as an aerobic/step instructor at the local work ou facility, which is what's taking all my time... three weekends in a row will be spent working out a LOT. weekend 1 (feb 1-3) is the dance-a-thon in ö-vik, so i guess that's one of MY free weekends.. weekend # 2 (feb 8-10) will be spent learning how to teach step/aerobic and most of all, weekend #3 will be spent in stockholm, learning the bascis of afro power dance! :D

btw, that week is gonna be crazy, first, there's that course on feb 8-10th, feburary 11th is THE day, (that is the day of the alter bridge concert) which means i'll be going to stockholm, then back again on the 12th, to work 13-14, and then back to stockholm again on feb 15th through 17th.. wooooha, but i'm looking forward to it!
and to manage to have all these three weekends free from work, i've worked a little magic with my schedule, (which i'm gonna have to persuade my boss to agree with tomorrow), which basically means that i'll be working 5 weekends in a row (tis was the 4th one, number 5 is next week) but it'll all work out just fine! :)
okey, so if u didn't get shit out of what i just wrote, i totally understand, but hey, sometimes a girl has to write something to clear her mind.

i've decided those are the dates for my return to the homeland (well, almost, my second home at least), i'm just gonna call dre and make sure those dates are fine with her! :)

everything since then..

almost a month has passed since i last wrote, probably cuz there's not muxch to say.. spend my days at work and my evenings doing nothing much.. but it's all good.

christmas and new years were spent with family and friends just as it's supposed to, new years was pretty perfect, no drama, just some friends and i, under dressed in our sweats, a very successful new years eve!
